Landfill and Reclamation Compaction
Johnson Taylor has a wide range of options available for landfill/reclamation compaction. Assuming the user wanted versatility and multi-functionality in its fleet, it could opt for a backhoe loader, dozer and compaction roller combination, ensuring maximum asset usage when landfill work is not readily available. A crew such as this might easily find work in other sectors of construction work.
Equipment Company
For the specialist landfill/reclamation contractor, however, a range of five purpose-specific XGMA landfill or trash compaction options are available from the Johnson Taylor Construction and Equipment Company.
The compactors are equipped with turbocharged Shangchai C6121 (Caterpillar technology) diesel engines or original water-cooled, reliable and economical Cummins diesel engines.
Each of the four wheels is separately powered using hydraulics as a drive. The teeth of the wheels are made of manganese alloy, highly effective for compacting and tearing solid waste.
The units feature fully hydraulic steering systems from Sauer-Danfoss and the central lubrication system comes from Vogel.
The landfill compactor units are sealed in a leak-tight box-type body structure, keeping waste objects out and reducing operator health hazards and malfunction. The transparent cab provides maximum space and wider visibility and features reduced sound levels to assist in the reduction of operator fatigue and the air conditioning system is equipped with air purifier as an additional health consideration. In addition, a pesticide sprayer is fitted to enhance sanitary conditions.
