Johnson Taylor makes materials handling machines available by way of a range of internal combustion counterbalance forklift trucks. These range from a rated payload of 1.8 tons to 46 tons in the larger units, with load centres from 500mm to 1200mm. These are used extensively for warehousing, port/rail operations, manufacturing and general industry.
Smaller forklifts are equipped with high mounted airflows and efficient exhaust technology, keeping air in and around the engine clean. This ensures reduced cylinder wear and extends the engine’s service life-span. Steering is via an hydraulic steering system with transverse cylinder ensuring steering accuracy and maintenance simplicity. The operators station features an adjustable steering wheel and full suspension seat.
Larger units have high-power/large torque and low oil consumption engines, and Rhino-Heli’s advanced mast technology. Transmissions are Heli-Power Shift units in machines up to 12 tons and ZF and Dana up to 46 tons.
